Welcome Danny Hoare – another reason you can count on us

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Danny Hoare as a Senior Manager in our Launceston office.

Another of our Xero Certified Advisers, Danny has a particular interest in helping clients to employ technology to gain a competitive advantage. We are delighted to have Danny’s business advisory, taxation and cloud accounting expertise on our team.

Continuing to lead the accounting profession with new CA ANZ appointment

Synectic are proud to acknowledge director Ben Coull‘s recent appointment as chair of Tasmanian Regional Council of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.

Ben takes on this role at an exciting time, with the amalgamation of the two trans-Tasman chartered accounting bodies recently being bedded down. The new Chartered Accountants ANZ body has an ideal opportunity to look to the future and start to shape its priorities, and specifically how it can deliver on the strategic pillars of relevance, reach and pre-eminence.

Ben’s appointment continues a strong tradition of leadership of the accounting profession by senior members of our firm, with director Yvonne Rundle having previously been Tasmanian Regional Chair in 2008-2009, whilst former partner Rob Atkinson also held the positions of both state and national chair of the Institute. We see an active contribution to our professional body as being an important part of maintaining the quality of accounting and advice not just for our clients, but for the community in general.
