Ros has worked in public practice accounting since graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce over 14 years ago. She has since extended her qualification, completing the Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) Program in 1999, and was a member of the CPA North and North West Branch Councils for 4 years. Ros specialises in taxation and superannuation compliance and business advisory services.
Upon moving from Launceston to Devonport with her husband, Ros joined our team in November 2006. She returned to Synectic after the birth of her first child in 2007 and will take 6 months maternity leave in September 2009 for the birth of her second child. With previous experience at a large, multinational accounting firm, she is inspired by working with a diverse range of clients in a local practice that respects family values.
Six years ago Ros also joined the community service organisation Apex, where she has served on the National Board for two years and now serves on the State Board. She feels that Apex offers her incredible opportunities to satisfy her desire to help the community and meet people.
